Photographer's STORY: Heading to the airport. The sun is low and strong and golden glow magical hour is in the air. We're on a backcountry road and we whiz by a luminescent red barn tucked over the edge of the bank to our right. My mouth catches up to my thoughts and eyes and I blurt: Stop the car!! I jump out and sprint back in to capture the striking greens and blues and reds against the deep, strong shadows. We're late but I don't want to leave. Until next time my Green Mountains.
